Ever since he was a teenager Jeff Deverett had a driving desire to make movies and he set himself on a path to become a film Producer by getting both a finance degree (University of Toronto) and a Law degree (Osgoode Hall Law School, Toronto). After graduating from Law School, Jeff spent the first 25 years of his filmmaking career in DISTRIBUTION working for major Media Companies such as Astral Media (Canada), Anchor Bay Entertainment (USA), and HIT Entertainment (UK), which lead to him launching his own distribution company, KABOOM Entertainment. After learning the world of distribution, Jeff decided to switch his focus to becoming a content creator and he has since produced and/or directed 30 half hours of television and seven feature films, three of which were picked up by Netflix for worldwide distribution. Presently Jeff is still an active filmmaker but also teaches film distribution, marketing, and budgeting in the film department at San Diego State University and he does private consulting for hundreds of indie filmmakers worldwide.
